Welcome to Acharya Marathe Library!!
Technology is at the heart of many of our daily activities. From the alarm clock that wakes us up in the morning to the mobile phone that we use to communicate and for entertainment to the computer at work, technology plays a key role in our daily life. Technology adds convenience and makes life easy! It also has become an important tool for teaching and learning. Internet and Multimedia can be used effectively to make the existing education system more effective!
Remember Technology is an enabler! As educators we can use our own computer or laptop. We can communicate with emails and blogs; post our assignments on a web portal. Today many colleges have digital projectors which can be used for our lessons. If you think it’s too late to learn how to use technology… Well it’s never too late, and now is the right time!!! We need to start thinking Different! We teachers and librarians need to take responsibility. We need to find ways to ‘Engage and Empower’ our students!!!
A Library is the ‘heart’ of the academic activities of our institution! We welcome you to the official Blog of the Library of N.G. Acharya & D.K. Marathe College!
"The number one benefit of information technology is that it empowers people to do what they want to do. It lets people be creative. It lets people learn things they didn't think they could learn before, and so in a sense it is all about potential." - Steve Ballmer, CEO, Microsoft.
